A dog’s formative period or socialisation period is around 1-3 mths old when it is the most impressionable, thus having positive and adequate exposure then will have a strong influence on its confidence and resilience in the long run. Typically, dogs will also go through two fear periods, once around 2-3 mths and once around 6 mths to 1 year, when they become extra sensitive and may suddenly get fearful or overwhelmed by their surroundings. Our puppy basics & socialisation program will not only tackle common puppy problems, but also focus on confidence-building.
